My name is Mrs. Dyer and I teach middle school and high school mathematics. Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year.

I will be teaching Math 8, Math 8 Support, and Geometry. We will be using CANVAS, and students and parents/guardians will have access to the class calendar, assignments, assessments, and additional resources through Canvas. 

I KNOW THAT ALL STUDENTS CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IN MATHS! 
 

Students’ belief, confidence and self-advocacy are important traits that can help with success in all classes, including mathematics. This means that students must BELIEVE they can be successful, and they must ASK FOR HELP when needed. Remember, if you do not understand YET, it does not mean you will never understand, just that more time and/or explanation is needed. 

I believe you can be successful, and I am here to help you understand concepts and grow as a mathematician. You will be challenged in my class, but you will also have opportunities to ask questions, show what you know, and help others.
