Hello!  My name is Katrina McPhail.  I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and attended Arizona State University for my B.A. in Anthropology.  After a few hot and dusty years as a contract archaeologist I decided to become a teacher like my mother and grandmother and went back to ASU for my teaching certification in Social Science. I love to travel with my family, read, grow fruits and vegetables in our yard and enjoy life.

The 2020-2021 school year will be my 21st year teaching in the Perris Union High School District. I am excited and a bit scared about this new era of education but I am up to the challenge.  I hope all of my students are also.  I currently teach AP Human Geography (periods 2, 3, and 7), 1st semester AP US Government and Politics (periods 5 and 6), American Government (period 4) and 2nd Semester AP Economics (periods 4, 5, and 6).  For more information about my classes please click on ClassLink at the top of this page and log in to CANVAS.
