I am Mrs. Carrie Higgins and I have been teaching Mathematics for over 20 years and Computer Science for 5 years. I earned my Mathematics degree from SDSU and began my teaching career at Escondido High School after several years there as a certified AVID tutor. I started teaching at PVHS in 2007. Besides teaching, I also coach CyberPatriots and Lacrosse, and co-advise the Femineer's Club (Female Engineering program) with Mrs. Arguello.
This year is going to be a new experience for all of us since we are online only for now. I prefer to be in the classroom to see your faces and meet you in person but we will have to do that over Google Meet. We will be holding live classes multiple days a week and you are expected to be "in class" daily. We will still learn a lot and have some fun.
I enjoy hanging out with my family & friends when I am not working. I live with my Husband, two Sons, one Daughter, and three Doggies. I like to garden, read, craft, camp, watch football with my family and attend my children's sporting events.
