Principal Message

Pathways for Adult Life Skills Community,

My name is Erika Heiliger-Garcia, and I am the proud Principal of Pathways for Adult Life Skills. It is my pleasure to serve alongside some of the most empathetic, caring, and professional staff in the Perris Union High School District. The paraeducators, teachers, and office staff strive to support all our students and families each day with optimism and care.  Each day, my goal is that all students are seen and provided with opportunities for inclusion and all staff are treated with dignity and respect.

The students attending PALS are learning Functional Life Skills that will help build independence and self-advocacy skills. Through Community Based Instruction, Workability, and hands-on experiences of Life Skills our students grow leaps and bounds; meeting IEP and personal goals.

I am grateful to be part of Pathways for Adult Life Skills program and look forward to witnessing the growth and development of our wonderful students!

With gratitude,

Erika Heiliger-Garcia
