Welcome Back Panthers!!!!

This year will prove interesting as we begin with Distance Learning, but together we will get through these unusual times and navigate the online learning process together.

I am excited to begin the 2020-2021 School Year and look forward to getting to know you all and embarking upon this unique journey together. Although it may be challenging in this new online environment, I want you to know I am here to support your learning and growth!

A little about me:

My name is Dena Diem and I have been teaching at Perris High School for 19 years and have taught every level of English and Intervention. This year I will be teaching Intensive English, English II, and English 12.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in both English and Psychology and my teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside, and my Master’s Degree in Education, Adolescent Literacy from Concordia University.

Some of the things I like doing in my free time are cooking and trying new recipes, watching television and movies, reading and writing, listening to true crime podcasts, traveling, working out, doing yoga, and taking long walks with my best friend (Ms. Brusca), playing with my cat, and attending concerts and live performances.

I use CANVAS and GOOGLE CLASSROOM for all classes.

***Please note that English IV will also utilize GOOGLE SITE as a component of our learning process.
