About Ms. Hong:
Ms. Julia Hong is a recent graduate of San Diego State University, where she received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Choral Emphasis in 2018 and her K-12 Single Subject Music credential in 2019. During her college career, Ms. Hong was active in both the collegiate and professional choral community of San Diego; she sang with the SDSU Chamber Choir for 6 seasons, along with the award-winning San Diego Pro Arte Voices. Having had the most amazing high school choir experience herself, Ms. Hong strives to provide the same experience for her students and give back to the choral community. Ms. Hong strongly believes in the teaching philosophy that through the pursuit of great music, children will learn to become well-rounded musicians, students, and human beings.
